The Great Pollination

The other night at prayer meeting God gave me a vision. I was praying in the Spirit and bees (a swarm of them) were pouring out of my mouth. It was almost like my words spoken in the Spirit were being transformed into bees. The Lord has been revealing the power of His word to me over the past few weeks, and I believe this vision brings the finishing message of the revelation.

When we discipline ourselves to be the mouthpiece for Jesus, the power that comes off our lips will pollinate this world. It will bring life! In fact, without it (just as with the bees), there will be no seedlings for the increase. In nature, the bee is the conduit or the means by which plants are fertilized and produce seeds for procreation. The bee transports the pollen from the flower to the reproductive parts of another plant; in turn, the flower feeds the insect (and its offspring) with a sweet nectar. Same with God. His Words are sweeter than honey in our mouths (Psalms 119:103) and when they are transported to the heart of a lost soul, life is birthed. He is the Creator; nothing but life exists in His breath (Psalms 33:6). The opposite holds true as well; if our words are spoken in the flesh and interfere with the move of God, we can bring death and destruction in the lives of others. Words really do matter – who we allow to speak (Jesus or our flesh) defines the outcome. We must diligently seek to be an empty vessel for the Lord to work through.

To be a conduit for the Kingdom of God, we must first realize that most of the time we are not empty vessels. We ask the Lord to speak for us, but the truth is that our flesh seems to get in the way more often than not. Acknowledge that—it will be the beginning of change in your witness. For me, I tend to over-think; so when I try to witness, my brain goes into overdrive and, instead of truly listening, I become lost in my own thoughts. If I am being really honest, sometimes the voice in my head is so loud that I can’t even hear what the other person is saying. But, the Lord is showing me and I am learning how to quiet myself down and let God take control of the conversation. Just as with anything in life, it takes practice. You will mess up, so be prepared for that. We are not natural conduits like the bees, it is a learned behavior for us (imparted by the Holy Ghost).

When the Lord first spoke to me about the power of His Word, I thought He meant scripture – and while that is true, scripture is our weapon – I didn’t understand the fullness of what He was speaking to me. His Words – whether written in the scriptures or spoken through His vessels – are so powerful, they shift the atmosphere. Speaking in His Spirit profoundly changes the outcome of any situation. Darkness cannot exist in Light – not in the natural world or in the spiritual world.

Take a hold of what the Lord is revealing to us. There is overwhelming power in this revelation. The Creator is creating life and He is speaking it through His vessels! He is releasing His power through us – a great pollination is taking place right before our eyes!

Thank you Jesus for allowing me to be a part of this mighty move! Thank you for equipping me with the weapons of spiritual warfare! My eyes are open; a fire has been set. Let Your will for my life stand firm in my heart! In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.
